Projects
How would you invest your time and resources if your aim wasn’t to get rich but to get happy? Projects are designed to provide you with a tool to put your ideas into practice.
Create a new project, call for supporters and link up with contacts with similar interests and different specialism’s to allow the project to come to life. You can call for volunteers or for experts in particular fields. Once you have what you need you can put the project into practice. The project leader has access to a supporter e-mail list, and a comments board for group discussion or announcements allowing for easy distribution of messages to project supporters. You can also use the petition tool get mass community support to help lobby government.
Just add a project within your profile or from this page, all you need to know is:
- What problem are you trying to solve?
- Why is it important to you?
- What impact will it have on the future of our planet?
- What is your plan of action?

Setting up a 'Future Club' in your community
Future Clubs offer an opporunity for like-minded people to meet face-to-face in a relaxed and enjoyable social setting for some focussed discussion on various aspects of how they want their lives to be over the next 20 years. Guiding Principles for the meetings are (1) Positivity – focus on the positive, yet embrace all experiences (2) Integrity - walk the talk, be the change (3) Action – to provide support and encouragement so we can begin to manifest our visions (4) Fun – enjoy the evening and make it enjoyable for everyone (5) Personal – focus on what we want for ourselves and what we can do personally and together (6) Timescale – from the present to 2030

Keeping Skilled Workers in Haiti
The earthquake in Haiti was one of the worst humanitarian disasters in recent history. It is thought to have killed over 150,000 people. We need to ensure that the reconstruction of the country, and especially Port-au-Prince, is well planned to ensure the country gets back on its feet as soon as possible.

The idea for Our Future Planet (OFP) was developed in 2006 and the charity was established in 2008. OFP evolved out of a desire to rethink the direction the world is heading in and aims to inspire people to create a better world in which to live. We have drawn a line in the sand. Our present planet is on one side, and our future planet is on the other. Our Future Planet enables you to rethink a future that does not follow on blindly from the ways of the past.
